ABOUT RE:UP

What is a sports recovery centre?

A sports recovery centre is a dedicated facility focused on helping the body recover from physical activity, training or injury. It is not a gym — there is no gym equipment. It is not a spa — there are no beauty treatments. Everything at RE:UP exists for one purpose: physical recovery.

RE:UP is the only facility in Altrincham combining contrast therapy (sauna and ice bath), clinical sports massage, sports injury rehabilitation and IV vitamin therapy under one roof.

It is used by runners, cyclists, footballers, gym-goers, office workers with chronic back pain, and people recovering from surgery — anyone who needs their body to work better, recover faster, or hurt less.

WHO COMES HERE

Who uses RE:UP Altrincham

Runners

Using the recovery sessions after long runs and hard training weeks. Contrast therapy on the same day as a long run is a common routine.

Cyclists

Coming in after rides, particularly during heavy training blocks or before a target event.

Gym-goers

Managing DOMS between sessions. Many come in 24–48 hours after a hard lift when soreness is at its worst.

Team sport players

Football, rugby and cricket players using it for game-day or post-match recovery. Often booked as a group.

People recovering from injury

Combining sports rehab sessions with recovery sessions. The therapist and facility work together.

Office workers

Not here for sport. Using it once or twice a week for stress, sleep and the simple feeling of being reset.
